Simple to use and economically priced, these manually operated testers are designed to pull apart spot welded test samples that are up to 1.5 inches wide and 0.25 inches thick. Rated to 5000 lbF, the peak force is captured during the test and displayed on the indicator. Serial or USB data output is standard providing accurate data transmission to your data collection system.

The PT-10-5K-DI Portable Spot Weld Tester is compact, light , and durable. A low ratio gear reduces the users effort to operated the manual crank. Because of its size only a small amount of bench space is required for the tester and display. It can easily be transported between work stations and used where 120 vac is available.

  • +/- 0.5% rate output accuracy, 1 lbF display resolution
  • Grips: Coarsely serrated wedge grips are included and accomodate sample up to 1.5 inches wide and 0.25 inches thick

 The PT-10-5K-M3/M5 Portable Spot Weld Tester has the same durable frame and operating mechanism and offers the best portability option and small footprint. The indicator is mounted directly to the tester frame and can operate up to 24 hours continously on its built in battery before recharging is necessary making this the perfect tester to transport from station to station.

Protect your investment with carrying/storage/shipping case.

This case is an excellent solution for shipping and storing you PT-10 tester and indicator. The case is designed to meet the hostile shipping environment without damaging the contents. A custom foam insert is designed specifically to fit current models of the PT-10. The indicator and the the heavier test frame are securely nested away from each other assuring no damage can occur.

The case has seven latches securing the lid from accidential opening. Wheels are integral to the case opposite the extendable pull handle making transporting it easy.
